May 10th is the foundation anniversary day of JWA.
Founded in 1950, 2020 will be the 70th anniversary.
We are deeply grateful that were able to reach this major milestone,
thanks to the understanding and support of our customers,
people all over the country, and the world.
As professionals who will continue to take on challenges for the future,
we will aim to become a “centennial company” that realizes a sustainable
“society in harmony with the natural world”
by solving social issues through meteorology, environment,
disaster prevention, and information services.
The “”70,”” which consists of the winds blowing from the orange sun to the future and the bridges linking nature and society, expresses the history we have walked so far, and determination and hope for the 100th anniversary.Combining the soft curves of nature and a part of the JWA logo into a typeface, it representsthe corporate message “”Harmonability”” of Japan WeatherAssociation.
The main asset of JWA is “people.”
We will carry out a variety of activities based on the idea of
“weather x people” and designating 2020 as a milestone year.
