The [tenki.jp Awareness of Disaster Prevention] project enabling individuals to have the accurate knowledge about disaster mitigation and prevention and to make necessary preparations.
Together with clients who provide essential products for disaster prevention and mitigation, we strive to enhance our content, aiming for each individual to take appropriate actions in the event of a disaster and contribute to disaster mitigation.

Project Overview

Living in Japan, typhoons, heavy rain and snow, earthquakes, volcanic activity, etc., are all possible disasters we must live alongside with, and the Japanese Meteorological Agency with national- and local authorities relentlessly provide official information and announcements regarding these phenomena.
Though, in recent years, with heavier rainfall causing more severe landslides and flood disasters, with the information provided for these weather-related disasters, damage can be minimized by knowing the meaning of the information and using it appropriately.
With large-scale disasters caused by earthquakes or heavy rains, various disaster prevention and mitigation actions are necessary. Stocking up household goods, know what to do if and when disaster occurs, and how to, as comfortable as possible in these situations, settle down in evacuation shelters.

Our project aims to raise awareness of accurate information, and one example is “rolling stock”. Understanding what daily necessities are important for each household and creating a stock of these to always have on hand in a case of emergency.
Through [tenki.jp Awareness of Disaster Prevention], we hope to equip each individual with the correct knowledge and encourage them to create good habits and maintain proper preparations to enable them to make informed decisions, then if disaster strikes, each individual can take action accordingly and fast.

Company Cooperations

The [tenki.jp Awareness of Disaster Prevention] project was made to provide content on different products and services used in preparations before and at the time of disasters, such as stockpile products. Companies sponsoring the project will be listed on the project page, gaining access to various materials and the project logo which can be used when developing and promoting their own products and services.
By broadening the information of products and services related to disaster prevention and mitigation, disaster prevention awareness will also rise in our society.
