Weather Information in Audio Format (Audio Media Support)
Services
Through the voice of a certified meteorologist or an automated voice system, weather information will reliably be delivered to the listeners, which is especially crucial in times of disasters.
Since 1995, Japan Weather Association has been entrusted by telecommunication companies to provide audio formatted weather forecasts (177*1).
Now with decades of experience and knowledge, specialized equipment, and dedicated facilities, JWA has the ability to continuously provide weather information via radio and support weather information segments on radio programs.
Automated weather forecasts using artificial voice technology can be provided as an alternative to having a certified forecaster relay the weather forecast for the radio radio program. Additionally for social media content creations, JWA can offer creative insights and ideas from the forecasters’ point of view.
*1 177 is a weather forecast telephone service by NTT East and NTT West where the latest weather forecasts issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency are available by telephone.
