A wave forecasting service that supports the decision-making for port entries and departures, cargo handling feasibility, and the safety management of port operations

JWA provides the “Port Point Forecasts,” which is issued by our dedicated, certified weather forecasters using our independently developed wave forecasting model. The short-term forecast provides data at 3-hour intervals up to 3 days ahead, while the weekly forecast is at 6-hour intervals up to 7 days ahead for key port locations.
We provide meteorological and oceanographic overviews, daily forecast tables, and time-series variation charts.

Features

Forecast information, from our dedicated certified weather forecasters, is provided via email in PDF format.

As an option, updates can be received 1 to 2 times per day, with either short-term (up to 3 days ahead) or weekly (up to 7 days ahead) forecasts, or both. Additionally, 24/7 telephone consultations with certified weather forecasters are available.
