On June 10th 2020, Japan Weather Association has received a letter of appreciation from JR Central.
Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) has announced the introducing new operation regulation. This regulation includes “soil water index” and “assessing system for debris flow risk” for secure the further safety.
At the time for introducing this new rainfall operation regulation, Japan Weather Association has provided various analyses such as verification of radar rainfall and calculation of past rainfall regulation frequency. This information will help technical studies for changing rainfall intensity and introducing radar rainfall regulations.
Japan Weather Association has been working on this project for 6 years. It is our great honor to contribute the technological progress for our customer. We will keep our effort to contribute various fields.
