Japan Weather Association (JWA) has released the April forecast of Cherry Blossom “Sakura” Blooming 2020.
Cherry Blossom of this year blooms earlier than usual in many areas. Mostly 3 days to 7 days earlier, especially Shinetsu (Nagano and Niigata) and Tohoku (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata and Fukushima) area will have the record-breaking. The earliest bloom of this year was observed in Tokyo, March 14^th.
Full bloom will last about 1 week to 10 days from the first day of flowering.
